Easter Hope Festival

Easter Hope Festival is an annual fair that occurs on the Saturday before Easter Sunday. It is a day when we invite over a thousand of our neighbors around the city to celebrate and share the Good News of Christ!

GLOW

GLOW is an annual fair hosted by Sa-Rang Community Church that aims to share the love of Christ on Halloween. Filled with bounce houses, games, food, and various other activities, GLOW is SRCC’s second largest annual community-based event that seeks to invite the community to celebrate Christ.

Magnolia Camps

2019-08-01 02.50.48 2-LQ.jpg

The Magnolia Summer Camp and Magnolia Thanksgiving Camp are week-long programs that occur in July and November, respectively. The Magnolia Camps began as an extension of SRCC’s Hope House Ministry, an after-school program designed to provide extracurricular activities to underprivileged children in the Magnolia School District. Every year, scores of volunteers are needed to make camp breakfasts, lead small groups, facilitate art workshops, and supervise the children on field trips.

Dates and Times:

  • Summer Camp: Typically around late July

  • Thanksgiving Camp: Week of Thanksgiving (ends with a banquet on the day before Thanksgiving)

Magnolia Thanksgiving Banquet

Since 2009, Sa-Rang Community Church (SRCC) has partnered with Project HERO of the Magnolia School District in Anaheim to provide opportunities for children of low-income families. Each year, the Magnolia Thanksgiving Camp ends with a banquet in which all the families of the participating children are invited to a great Thanksgiving feast - a privilege that most, if not all, our guests cannot experience otherwise.

This banquet occurs the day before Thanksgiving each year.

Banquet Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Food Prep

  • Table Talker

  • Server

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Vacation Bible School is an annual three-day Bible-based summer program for children up to third grade. Children experience the gospel through fun games and activities, and are exposed to the love of Christ through their community. Every year it takes hundreds of volunteers to make this event possible to share the love of Christ and sow into the next generation!
