About Missionary Etienne Kim’s Ministry

Etienne Kim is the Haiti Director from Serving Friends International who is married with one daughter. After the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, Etienne was moved in his heart to help the local Haitians. He spent many of his years rebuilding the Cassagne village within the Leogane district in partnership with other non-profit organizations. He meets the needs of the people by building a school and community center where teams distribute basic goods including medical assistance.

HolyWave has sent two mid-term missionaries in 2014 and have sent short-term mission teams every year since 2015. The teams have volunteered at a partnering orphanage to meet the emotional needs of the children. Missionary Kim’s team has also done outreaches by launching a water project where tanks of water including drinking water are passed out to those without in an area called Canaan.
