Sa-Rang Community Church 2020 theme:

Building the Kingdom of God, Building the Family of God

 
 

Since 1988, Sa-Rang Community Church has committed ourselves to the mission of being “a Spirit-filled community of fully committed disciples of Jesus Christ who impact the world.” As we begin the year 2020, we envision strengthening our families in light of fulfilling this call to become disciples, make disciples, and reach the ends of the earth with the gospel.

We vision to be a mission-minded church that builds the Kingdom of God. Being mission-minded does not mean we go out on missions more, but rather we live mission-minded, wherever we are. We seek to be a church that considers our schools, marketplaces, businesses, and daily lives as mission fields. When our members and families become mission-minded, our church will naturally become mission-minded as well.

…For the Next Generation

This year, we aim to focus on three key initiatives in order to become a church that builds the Kingdom of God through family:

  • Family TIME: Encourage and provide more practical support in giving families opportunities to spend time with each other.

  • Family OUTREACH: Encourage families to participate in various outreach opportunities together.

  • Family MISSIONS: Encourage families to participate in domestic/international missions together.

What is Family Time?

“Family Time” is a series of guides provided by Sa-Rang Community Church to help guide you in having family worship time together. We encourage you to do family worship at least once a week.

Is This only for Parents with children?

Not at all! “Family” is not limited to your biological family; we are all part of a spiritual family as well! We highly encourage all types of families - biological or spiritual - to engage in weekly family time.

when should we do Family Time?

We suggest Sunday afternoons, though you are welcome to set your own schedule.
