2020 was a year no one anticipated. But God did. Though our daily lives have been greatly impacted by this “new normal,” we realize that as a church, we must all the more “Arise & Shine” in order to fulfill our mission and partnership with the Lord.

Worship God in spirit and truth

Fasten our armor of faith, restore our first love, and come to the place of worship with all our heart, mind, and soul, regardless of location.

Learn the Word of God

Studying and holding onto Scripture is the best method for survival, whether in our new normal or beyond.

Serve Our Neighbors with Love

This is our opportunity to especially serve those who may be particularly impacted by COVID-19. Let us put away our own fears and arm ourselves with love as we go to the place of service.

This year, we will strive to become a church that truly arises and shines in the world. We will go all-in on missions and mercy ministry to shine the light of Christ and His gospel. We will focus on commissioning and supporting more missionaries, reigniting domestic/global missions teams that have been suspended all this while, and serving our suffering neighbors with Christ’s love.

We are the Church. Let us not simply come to church, but be the Church. let us live holding onto our identity as God’s holy people and Christ’s disciples. Let us arise and shine the light of Christ.
