Statement regarding an Update on the New LEad Pastor Search Committee

Dear HolyWave Members,

We wanted to provide you with the latest update regarding our Lead Pastor search process. We have undertaken and now completed the process of forming the new Lead Pastor Search Committee according to the protocols laid out in our last official statement. As a result, we have finalized the committee members as follows:

• Pastor Ro, our Senior Pastor

• Elder Yong-Kyu Park, the session secretary elder

• Elder Andy Kim

• Deacon James Lee

• Mark Hwang, representing older married Oikos leaders

• Victor Suh, representing younger married Oikos leaders

• David Kim, representing NEXT

They will have their first meeting soon, and shortly thereafter, our congregation will have a chance to meet them, to pray over them and to have a time of short Q&A session, to address and answer any question or concern you may have regarding the whole process. Let us continue to lift these people up in our prayers so that they will be filled with the wisdom and discernment of God, and that they will be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit at all times.

Let us also continue to pray for HolyWave, that we will continue “to be a Spirit-filled community of fully committed disciples who impact the world”.
